Global Game Jam - Hosted by the Critical Gaming Collaboration Studio

Join the Critical Gaming Collaboration Studio at the Open Scholarship Commons for the Global Game Jam, a worldwide 48-hour game-making event open to all experience levels. On Friday, participants will receive this year’s Global Game Jam theme, learn the basics of game jamming, form teams, and begin developing games alongside a global community of creators.

No prior experience is required. Participants may drop in as their schedule allows; facilitators will be available to onboard newcomers throughout the session. Teams will collaborate via Discord during the jam, and snacks and water will be provided on Friday.

We’ll reconvene on Sunday to share projects, reflect on the process, and celebrate the work created during the jam.
