Entrance:
Library is in the main administrative building with ground level access.
Accessible Bathroom:
Accessible bathroom is about 20 feet away from library in the main building.
Barriers:
Both doors at the main entrance are usually left open. However, if only one door is open the entrance is 23.5″ wide with no paddles. No accessible van service on San Juan Island. No doors have paddles or sensors.
Assistive Technology:
Available on Student Computers (require UW NetID) and Guest Research Workstations.

About Friday Harbor Library
The UW Friday Harbor Library is located at the Friday Harbor Laboratories, the UW’s marine field station on San Juan Island, Washington.
Located in the Fernald Building, the library provides a core collection of marine science books and journals to support research and teaching at the Labs. FHL Library users also have access to the full UW Libraries online collection of e-journals, e-books, and article databases.
