Library Card	Use Your UW Libraries Borrower’s Card to check out items Contact Library Account Services for issuing/renewing UW Libraries Borrower’s Cards Affiliated users are eligible for a free card; others may purchase a card. Check Your Library Account to see when your account will expire. Renew your account with Library Account Services.
Loans	30 item limit, generally with a 4 week checkout period; loan periods vary among libraries and material type
Track Due Dates & Renew Materials	Your Library Account Library Account Services will issue you a guest UW NetID to login You should regularly check your online account, as you are responsible for all items checked out to it and fines will accrue on overdue items. Most UW-owned materials can be renewed indefinitely unless/until they are requested by someone else or the account expires.
Access Databases, E-Journals, E-Books, etc. from Off-Campus?	No You may only access most databases, e-journals, e-books, etc. while on campus. More info about computer access for visitors
Access to On-Campus Libraries	Some Some campus Libraries building are open only to current UW students, faculty, and staff. Please check the Libraries & Hours page for specific libraries access policies.
Change of Address	Report address changes to Library Account Services, 206-543-1174.
