Get Materials via Campus Mail

Current UW faculty and staff with UW campus box numbers can have material checked out to them and sent to their department via campus mail.

Get Started

  • Search and request in UW Libraries Search.
  • Select Work Address as your pickup location.
  • You will receive an email when the item is loaned and mailed to you.
  • Items must be sent to a valid campus box number. Verify your campus box number in your Library Account. Campus address changes must be made through Workday. It may take a week or more for your Library Account information to be updated. Please be mindful of your department’s capacity to process and secure material that you request.

How Long Does it Take?

Items from UW Libraries 
1-3 days

Items from Interlibrary Loan or Summit
10-14 days


If you do not receive your item within seven days

Contact Central Circulation Services at [email protected]. The UW Libraries is not responsible for material once it arrives at your campus box location or if you do not contact us within seven days of the material being mailed.

Returning Material

  • Drop off at one of our Book Returns.
  • Return via campus mail:
    • Central Circulation Services, Box 352900
  • Material sent via mail will be checked in when it is received by the Libraries and is the responsibility of the borrower until that time. Please allow at least three days for mailing time.
