- Find your item in the Libraries Catalog and then use the “request” button. Items will be available at your specified location within 3 business days. Items will be held for 7 days. Library borrowers will be sent a notice when the item is available, others should call (206) 543-2553 after 3 days.

To request an item that has the Library Catalog status “AVAILABLE, LIB USE ONLY“:

Items requested at the Government Publications, Maps, Microforms & Newspapers Help Desk may be available upon request, depending on staff availability. Items will be held on the Government Publications, Maps, Microforms & Newspapers Courtesy Hold Shelf for 7 business days. If you provided your email address when you submitted the request, you will be sent a notice when the item is available; others should call (206) 543-4164 to check on the status of their requests.
