Returning Library Materials
Most books and media, including Summit and Interlibrary Loan materials, may be returned to any UW library or book return.
If possible, return fragile or loose materials directly to a circulation desk at any UW library rather than a book return.
Library materials may also be returned by mail. Material sent via the mail will be checked in when it is received by the Libraries and is the responsibility of the borrower until that time. Please allow time for mailing and delivery.

Course Reserves and Equipment
All reserve materials and circulating equipment, including calculators and computers, must be returned to the circulation desk from which they were borrowed. Items returned to anywhere other than where they were checked out are not counted as returned until they reach the original checkout library. This may take several days. During this time, overdue fines will be charged.
