The Suzzallo and Allen Libraries offers a variety of study spaces to fit your needs.
A sampling of study spaces are described below.

Noise levels:

Chatter		In-person: Collaborative work Zoom: Interactive session
Low Hum		In-person: Low conversations Zoom: Occasional speaking
Silent		In-person: Silent study Zoom: No speaking

Computer Spaces Scattered throughout the 2 buildings. Variety is the key word here. Noise level: Variable		Suzzallo 3rd Floor Octagon Mixed seating outside the Reading Room. Active area, some talking and foot traffic. Noise level: Chatter
Suzzallo 102 Café-style seating. Quieter than its counterpart in Suzzallo Starbucks (across the lobby). Noise level: Chatter		Reading Room Imagine studying in a cathedral! The only utterly quiet area in the libraries. Noise level: Silent
Suzzallo 1st Floor Mixed seating in active area, off the Suzzallo main corridor. Noise level: Chatter		Suzzallo 4th Floor Overlook Quiet, carpeted, with study tables. Noise level: Low Hum
Allen North Balcony Study with a view! Mixed seating in mostly quiet area. Noise level: Low Hum		Assigned Study Carrels Located on the quiet, Suzzallo 4th floor, nestled in the book stacks. Noise level: Low Hum
Allen North & South, 2nd & 3rd floors Mixed seating in mostly quiet area in the book stacks. Noise level: Chatter		Gallery Study Area Located on Allen North 4th floor. A quiet area with study tables. Shares the space with an art exhibit. Noise level: Low Hum
Scholar Study Room Allen North 2nd floor, room 281L. Restricted access. Noise level: Low Hum		Individual Quiet Study Space @ Research Commons This space has been temporarily converted to reservable quiet, individual study space. Noise level: Low Hum
Group Study Rooms Suzzallo 3rd floor. Room 328, 333, 334, 335, & 338. Seats between 4 - 11. Can be reserved. Noise level: Variable		Suzzallo Ground Floor Study Area A mixed environment in the Government Publications, Maps and Microforms & Newspapers Section. Generally pretty quiet. Noise level: Low Hum
