Study Spaces
There are individual and small group study spaces at all Libraries locations. Most of these spaces can be reserved. Most group study rooms are equipped with large display monitors for screen sharing and videoconferencing.
Meeting & Event Spaces
Spaces are available that can accommodate larger and more formal meetings. Some spaces may incur a rental fee.

Computer Labs & Studios
Several locations have large computing lab spaces that are available for drop-in use when not booked for an event. Depending on the use case, events may incur a rental fee. Recording studios are also available for digital media projects.
Engineering Library Instruction Center (ELIC)
The ELIC is located on the third floor of the Engineering Library. This lab is available for drop-in use unless already booked for an event.
Geographic Information System (GIS) Lab
The GIS Lab is located on the ground floor of Suzzallo Library. These PCs are equipped to run ArcGIS Pro. This lab is available for drop-in use unless already booked for an event.
Health Sciences Library (HSL) Learning Commons Lab
The HSL Learning Commons Lab is located on the third floor of the Magnuson Health Sciences Building. Labs are available for drop-in use when not booked for an event. See their list of software.
Odegaard Undergraduate Library (OUGL) Learning Commons
The OUGL Learning Commons is managed by UW Academic Technology and is available for drop-in use. See their list of software.
Open Scholarship Commons (OSC)
The OSC is located on the first floor of Suzzallo Library. This lab is available for drop-in use unless already booked for an event. Desktop computers are non-reservable and available for drop-in use. Laptops and spaces must be reserved in advance for planned events.
Recording & Audio Studios
The Libraries has 2 recording and audio studios for audio and video projects. Reservations required.

Wellness Technology
Some locations provide wellness equipment that can be checked out for brief periods of time.

Computers, Scanners, Printers

Computers
Computers are available for drop-in use at all Libraries locations. Many of these computers are placed on height adjustable tables.

Printing and Scanning
All Libraries locations provide scanning machines and drop-in computers with printing capabilities.

Specialized Viewing and Scanning
Specialized equipment for viewing and scanning microfilm, aerial photography, 35mm film, and VHS/VCR are available.
Borrowing Technology & Other Equipment
The Libraries has a variety of technology and other equipment that you can check out, including computer accessories, chargers, adapters, viewing and scanning equipment, wellness equipment, assistive equipment, recording equipment, and calculators.
