Explore Study Spaces in the Libraries
There are individual and small group study spaces at all Libraries locations. Many of these spaces can be reserved (by current students with UW NetID). Most group study rooms are equipped with large display monitors for screen sharing and videoconferencing. Explore and find your favorites!

Zoom Pods
Sound-proof quiet booths are available on a drop-in basis (non-reservable). These are meant for short term use – see restrictions posted at each pod. Available at these locations:

- Suzzallo Library
- Tateuchi East Asia Library
Odegaard Undergraduate Library
UW only. Current, valid Husky card required for entry.
Collaboration pods are available; remotes, wellness equipment, and other peripherals available for checkout

Odegaard Study Rooms and Team Booths
A variety of study rooms and booths are available; some include large monitors. Reservations available for 23 spaces – see each space for details.

The Wellness Room has a variety of furniture and features to help students relax and care for themselves while studying and working in Odegaard Library.

Sound Studio
Odegaard 246
The Sound Studio is a media lab that contains high-end, professional tools for recording and editing audio. Reservations required.
Suzzallo and Allen Libraries
There are a variety of open study spaces throughout the building, including the iconic Suzzallo Reading Room (the only silent study space in the building). Remotes and other peripherals available for checkout. Below are specialized reservable spaces:

Accessible Study Room
Suzzallo 327
Priority is given to students with disabilities. Request the keycode at the Suzzallo or Allen Info Desks.

- Two accessible workstations similar to those in the Access Technology Center
- Electronic magnifier
- Flatbed scanner
- Ambidextrous mouse with track ball
- Speech to text tools (see guides)
- Additional privacy for students with disabilities needing to make noise during their work, such as using speech to text.

Assigned Carrels and Scholar Study Rooms
Study spaces available for long-term assignment for researchers.

Allen Library Family Study Room

Children are to remain supervised by their adult parent/caregiver in the space at all times. Do not ever leave your children in the space unattended.
