Sound Proof Pods
Sound-proof booths for individuals are available on a drop-in basis (non-reservable). These are meant for short term use – see restrictions posted at each booth. Available at these locations:
- Engineering Library
- Foster Business Library
- Odegaard Undergraduate Library
- Research Commons
- Suzzallo Library
- Tateuchi East Asia Library
Suzzallo and Allen Libraries
Assigned carrels and scholar study rooms are also available.
Odegaard Undergraduate Library
UW only. Current, valid Husky card required for entry.
Collaboration pods are available; remotes and other peripherals available for checkout

Reservation Policy
Applicable to all study space reservations, except where otherwise noted.*
- Individuals may reserve a maximum of 3 hours per day.
- Reservations may be made a maximum of 2 weeks in advance.
- Only current UW students, staff, and faculty with current, valid NetIDs will be able to reserve a space.
- Individuals cannot have more than one space reserved at one time.
- If a reservation is not claimed within 15 minutes, it may be used by another group. On the Seattle campus, claim your room by checking in online.
- Reservations are only valid when the library is open.
- Please do not leave your belongings unattended, they are vulnerable to theft.
- Consult individual libraries for additional usage policies.
