Preservation Services staff manage many programs designed to extend the life of the UW Libraries collections. These activities can be divided roughly into two categories.
Binding, Conservation, Digitization, Digital Preservation
Focuses on binding, conserving, digitizing, housing, and/or repairing items so that they can be used for as long as possible. Since preservation funding is finite, we focus our efforts on high-use, valuable, and vulnerable materials.
