Duties
- Completing bibliographic descriptions for incomplete records in OCLC WorldCat
- Identify matching bibliographic records in OCLC Connexion.
- Edit records, for example, correcting or adding romanization, adding correct Non-Latin script (Japanese) and other descriptive information.
- Save bibliographic records in OCLC Connexion for Librarian review.
Required Qualifications
- Native level or advanced level of Japanese language, especially the ability to read kanji properly.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
- Computer literacy.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Responsible for assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read kyūjitai (traditional form of kanji)
