Duties
- Assist in the daily operations of the Serials Receiving Section of the Acquisitions and Rapid Cataloging Services Division, Suzzallo Library.
- Duties, as assigned, include, but are not limited to:
- Sorting & unpacking mail for Serials/ARCS.
- Creating inventory records using the library’s online catalog.
- Processing materials for all branches of the Libraries.
- Other acquisitions and general office duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Clean, legible penmanship.
- Attention to detail, comfortable with and able to maintain focus doing repetitive tasks; unafraid to ask questions.
- No prior library experience required.
Desired Qualifications
- Reading knowledge (not fluency) of world languages (particularly, but not limited to, Chinese).
Other Job Details
- Must be Available to work over summer, continuing into the following school year. Position is conveniently located on campus in Suzzallo Library.
