Organizational Development and Inclusion (ODI)

About

The UW Libraries Organizational Development and Inclusion (ODI) department provides leadership for a portfolio dedicated to Human Resources (HR), Staff Development, and Staff Engagement by advancing inclusive and organizational excellence across the Seattle, Bothell/Cascadia, Tacoma campuses. Placing HR within this portfolio ensures that recruitment, retention, and professional development are closely aligned with the Libraries’ commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and continuous learning. The department oversees a range of services, including labor relations, internal communications, employee training, recognition programs, employee scholarships, and DEIA initiatives. Through this work, the department helps to make UW Libraries a place where staff thrive, grow professionally, and feel a sense of connection to purpose.
